"We receive over 200 enquiries from the Chinese audience on a daily basis, requesting to know more about Nigeria," said Runsewe, who is planning to visit China in early April to formalize arrangement with the Chinese counterpart.

There are huge opportunities in Nigeria's tourism industry for investments, he said.

"We have most of the biggest hotels in catalog printing world operating in Nigeria, but we want more Chinese to come into Nigeria because they are special," he said.

"They are lovely people, nice people and very hospitable," he added.

"Although we do Balanchine's works very beautifully, I think American ballet companies do his works better than us," Yampolsky said. "We thought if we are coming from Israel, we want to show what we do."

What Israel Ballet does is a mix of classical story ballets like "The Sleeping Beauty," "Romeo and Juliet" and "Don Quixote" (the latter the company will perform for selected dates on its current U.S. tour) and neoclassical ballet works.

For Tuesday's performance, Yampolsky said the company will be performing what it does best -- her neoclassical ballets.

The program will open with Yampolsky's ballet "X-ta." Set to a percussion score broken up by "lachrymose" song, the ballet for 22 dancers uses a series of movement variations that "expresses the rhythm of the soul," she said.

Composer Arnold Schoenberg's cantata Gurrelieder, based on Jens Peter Jacobsen's poem about the Danish "Saga of Gurre," serves as inspiration for Yampolsky's ballet of the same name.

Set in a cemetery, "Gurrelieder" tells the story of King Waldemar (aka Valdemar IV), who became disconsolate over the sudden death of his mistress Tove Lille (Little Tove) and lashed out at God for taking her from him.

Although the ballet is Yampolsky's favorite of the more than 25 works she has choreographed for the company, she said she initially had reservations about having the ballet as part of the program due in large part to Schoenberg's score.

"The music is heavy," Yampolsky said. "It is sophisticated and beautiful but not very popular with the critics."

In the end, Yampolsky's love of the ballet won out.

Closing out the program will be another Yampolsky ballet, "Ni- Na." Set to the music of composer Camille Saint-Saens, the ballet in three sections is "completely abstract and expresses the mood of the music," said Yampolsky.

"We are happy to complete this growth financing with a well- regarded partner such as Everbright Private Equity," said TW Liu, Chairman and CEO of iSoftStone. "We believe that this investment, which comes from an existing client of iSoftStone, is a validation of our service offering, particularly with domestic Chinese banking clients."
